Introduction to Fused Glass March 26-28, 2010 Friday 7:00 pm- 10:00 pm Saturday 10:00 am-4:30 pm Sunday 10:am til we're done! In this workshop, you will design, cut out, assemble and fuse a minimum of 3 glass pieces. Friday evening will be a glass cutting and design workshop. We will also begin our first 'scatter' plate Saturday will be for creating a mosaic type fused glass plate and on Sunday we will work creating multiple colours out of clear and coloured over-lapped glass. Slumping the final shapes will happen when kiln time permits and finished pieces will be ready to take home in the middle of the following week. The class will be full of information about firing schedules, ways of slumping, slumping without molds, casting and other warm glass techniques. Bring your questions! Class tuition is $210.00. There is also a lab fee of $42.00 * these costs include 5% GST
