Christopher Smith and his Glaskrafter Art Glass studio have been making fine stained glass and sand carved glass since 1977. Chris designs and fabricates quality art glass windows, lamps, skylights, doors, entry systems and all manner of glass sculpture and furniture. Working with builders, interior designers and individual clients, Chris is able to visualize and communicate the design, and create the glass art work for your specific space and architectural requirement.

Our Phoenix Gallery of glass and ceramic art is open 10 am to 5 pm Monday to Saturday ,June through September 3rd. The Gallery features many kinds of Glass Art: stained glass panels; sand-carved glass panels, fused and slumped glass, glass sculpture, and mixed media glass (incorporating materials such as stone, wood and exposed beach aggregate). You can also visit both the glass and clay studios and view art work in progress.

To find us is easy. We're on Vancouver Island north west of Nanaimo. On Hwy. #19 (Island Hwy.), 3 km past Lantzville, beside Nanoose Bay, just look out for a blue 'A' artisan sign with 'glass art' and 'potter' tabs. Take the next right turn and you are there.

We've really redone the gallery Now! New name
'Phoenix Gallery of Glass and Ceramic Art',
new entry door and paint job. The Phoenix Gallery is able to process Visa,
MasterCard and Amex and has become a well lit intimate setting to leisurely view
my new and constantly changing fused glass (as well as the usual quality leaded
and stained glass and sandblasted and carved art glass) and Jane has also
promised to keep a good showing of her new pottery in the gallery.
